Advice for Teen Dads by Anonymous
The only advice I have for you is to hold on tight. Hold on to your sanity. Hold on to your life. Hold on to your child. Let me explain what I mean.
Your sanity will be the first to slip. You just have to remember it’s all worth it. Being a dad is hard work but look in your child’s eyes and you know it’s worth it.
Your life will change but it’s important to remember you must live for yourself as well as your child. Your kid always comes first, but if you’re not happy, your baby won’t be either.
The most important thing in your life is your child. Hopefully his/her mother isn’t psychotic and won’t take your child away from you. Never trust anyone else with any say over your child. You are the only one you can trust to be fair.
