Eggstravaganza is for Children’s Village families. The parent to parent program register 200 children with special needs and their siblings to participate in the different activities. There is an egg hunt, petting zoo, cake/treat walk, face painting, Bunny bean bag toss, fishing booth.
“We had a little girl, maybe two years old with Down Syndrome. I was watching her do the cake walk. She was having so much fun, smiling and laughing that she couldn’t keep her balance. She had a parent on either side of her to help and when the music started, she grinned from ear to ear and started walking. She enjoyed herself so much so that it was infectious! Amazing what one smile can do . . . “
