February is American Heart Month
YAKIMA WA: In support of American Heart Month, Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital is hosting a series of educational programs and events on Thursday evenings throughout the month of February to the educate individuals on how to fight America’s No. 1 killer, cardiovascular disease. Take this opportunity to talk to medical experts and survivors about their experiences with this life-threatening disease.
Event: Heart Disease: Risky Business
What: Once thought to be a man’s disease, cardiovascular disease is also the number 1 killer of women in America. Find out how the symptoms, disease, and recovery may be different for women than for men.
