Great News for our Donors!

The American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 gives taxpayers some great deductions for charitable giving from Individual Retirement Accounts.

Through this calendar year, donors age 70½ or older are once again eligible to move up to $100,000 from their IRAs directly to qualified charities without having to pay income taxes on the money.

These early days of fall are a great time to review your charitable giving plans and make those qualified charitable gifts—an easy, tax-saving way to support the health programs and services you love throughout Memorial Family of Services.  See your financial planner or call The Memorial Foundation at 576-5794 for further information.

The gift must be in the form of a direct transfer to be eligible and made out to:

Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital Charitable Foundation

2701 Tieton Dr.
Yakima WA 98902
