A class of teens with special needs are now proud members of the workforce. They graduated from “Project Search” which runs through Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. It prepares teenagers with disabilities to transition into jobs. The students build communication and problem solving skills. The students received diplomas and celebrated with classmates and family Friday. Project Search began at Memorial Hospital in 2007. It graduates 10-12 students each year.
