Virginia Mason Memorial’s new monthly TV show packed with health tips for the community

This summer, Virginia Mason Memorial started its own television program full of helpful and important health information! The show airs repeatedly the first two weeks of each month on Charter Spectrum’s public access Channel 192.

In October we talked to a breast cancer survivor and her husband, along with Carol Vanevenhoven, Memorial’s senior director for the Women and Children’s service line. November’s program, airing now, is about Hospice & Palliative Care Month and features Laurie Jackson, senior director of Compass Care, Memorial’s end-of-life line of services.

Channel 192 is available only to cable subscribers, but all shows are available to the public at any time online:

Virginia Mason Memorial is grateful for this no-cost community resource provided by the City of Yakima through Yakima Community Television (YCTV).
